I grew up in Vermont moslty fishing and hunting in Windsor County. Trips to Grampy Husband's camp on Lake Champlain were always a fun time. Opening day of hunting season was a special day. We would wake to the aroma of Dad cooking breakfast. Anticipation and excitement were high. When we arrived at the mountain we would gather with the Tansey family (our Aunt, Uncle, and cousins) and a new chapter in our family tradition would begin. I have brought that tradition forward to my family. The addition of grandchildren in 2026 brings new hope to extend the tradition.
