My father Roland Husband taught my brothers and I how to hunt and fish. Hunting and fishing were family traditions. Opening day of hunting season was more exciting to me than Christmas. Hunting Thanksgiving morning was always an incredible day. We usually hunted and fished with our Aunt, Uncle and cousins (the Tansey family).
I remember small shops that supported the industries. You were able to speak with individuals who knew the product before you bought something.
We didnt wear camo we wore wool. Wool is a natural antimicrobiobial. A natural scent blocker.
We have developed mid layer wool and fleece vests designed by hunters for hunters. Our vests are hand made by a local seamstress. Stay warm by keeping your core warm.
Our shirts are designed and printed by a local artist.
Our mugs and steins are made by a local pottery shop.
We use a small embroidery shop in New Hampshire for our embroidery.
All products are finished and/or sourced through local small businesses
We are researching archery lines to add to our portfolio of products. If successful, we will be a full service archery shop.
Today I hunt and fish with my son Tyler Husband and our brother Kevin Mortensen.
